Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 2–3 hours
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork tenderloin
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
1. Season the Pork: Rub the pork tenderloin with olive oil, smoked paprika, dried thyme, and black pepper until evenly coated.
2. Sear Until Golden: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork on all sides until beautifully golden brown.
3. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, melted butter, brown sugar, and chicken broth.
4. Add to Slow Cooker: Place the seared pork tenderloin into the slow cooker. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce evenly over the meat.
5. Slow Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for approximately 2–3 hours, checking early to avoid overcooking. The pork is ready when its internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
6. Thicken the Glaze: Remove the pork from the slow cooker. Pour the cooking liquid into a saucepan. Mix cornstarch with water, stir it into the sauce, and simmer until thick, smooth, and glossy.
7. Glaze the Tenderloin: Brush the warm honey garlic glaze generously over the cooked pork, coating it with a beautiful shiny finish.
8. Slice and Serve: Allow the pork to rest for at least 3–5 minutes. Slice into tender pieces and drizzle with extra honey garlic sauce before serving.
