Vegan Loaded French Bread Pizza (Quick Version)

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12–15 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 large French bread loaf
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup cooked vegan ground meat or seasoned lentils
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup vegan pepperoni slices
  • 1–1½ cups shredded vegan mozzarella
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place both halves cut side up on the baking sheet.
  3. Mix the olive oil and garlic, then brush over the cut sides of the bread. Bake for 3–4 minutes to lightly toast.
  4. Spread marinara sauce over each half. Add the cooked vegan ground meat, bell peppers, and vegan pepperoni. Sprinkle with vegan mozzarella and oregano.
  5. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until the bread is crisp and the toppings are hot. If your vegan cheese needs more time to melt, cover the pizzas loosely with foil for the last few minutes, following the cheese package directions.
  6. Top with basil or parsley. Let rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve.

Tip: Toasting the bread before adding sauce helps keep the pizza crisp. If using raw vegan ground meat, cook it fully according to its package directions before adding it.

Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to crisp the bread.
