OPTIONAL CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TOPPING
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 tablespoons melted chocolate
Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Add cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
Gently mix in the melted chocolate.
Spoon the mousse over the top of each shake.
TIPS
Use very cold milk for the best texture.
Do not add too much milk at once or the shake will become thin.
For a richer chocolate flavor, add 1–2 tablespoons melted dark chocolate.
For extra sweetness, increase the chocolate syrup.
For a thicker dessert-style shake, use less milk and more ice cream.
Chill the glasses before serving for an extra-cold drink.
